Trade Transfers Between Afghanistan and Iran Continue Normally via Sheikh Abunasr Farahi Port

The head of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Farah province has announced that the transfer of commercial goods between Afghanistan and Iran is proceeding normally, with hundreds of trucks crossing daily through Sheikh Abunasr Farahi port.

Din Mohammad Naimati stated that on average, more than 400 trucks move from Afghanistan to Iran each day, while approximately 380 trucks enter Afghanistan from Iran. According to him, these movements have continued without significant issues, and trade exchanges have not been disrupted.

The head of Farah’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce also added that the current tensions and conflicts between Iran, the United States, and Israel have so far had no impact on Afghanistan’s trade.

Sheikh Abunasr Farahi port is located in western Afghanistan near the Iranian border and is considered one of the important commercial gateways for transferring goods between the two countries.
