According to the provided information, in addition to the full repair and reconstruction of the road, dozens of culverts are also being built under this project. Furthermore, the construction of three large bridges is planned, which upon completion will facilitate vehicle traffic along this route.
The Helmand-Kandahar highway is a vital route for the transportation of goods and the movement of passengers between the southern provinces. Residents of these areas have consistently complained about the poor condition of this road, and the timely and quality completion of this project can play a significant role in reducing transportation problems and boosting economic activities.
Given the importance of this route, it is expected that the Taliban administration will maintain transparency in the implementation process and complete the work according to technical standards and within the designated timeframe.
