Taliban Claims Killing 30 Pakistani Soldiers in Cross-Border Attack

The Taliban administration’s Ministry of Defense has announced that as part of the ongoing “Red Al-Zulm” operation, their forces targeted a Pakistani military post across the Durand Line, near the Shorabak district of Kandahar province. The ministry claimed that 30 Pakistani soldiers were killed in the attack.
In a statement released by the ministry, it was reported that in addition to casualties, Taliban forces seized various weapons and military equipment. According to the claim, the captured items include two mortars, three Dushka machine guns, two night and day vision devices, and two heavy weapons.
The statement also mentioned the seizure of 18 hand grenades, 30 rounds of heavy weapons ammunition, 10 boxes of Dushka ammunition, and other supplies described as “war spoils.”
As of the time this news was published, Pakistani officials have not responded to these allegations. In recent years, clashes along the Durand Line have frequently heightened tensions between the two sides and raised concerns among residents of the border areas.
