Distribution of Wheat and Cash Begins for 1,200 Returnee Families in Kabul

The distribution of wheat and cash assistance to 1,200 families returning from Pakistan and Iran began today in Kabul city. These aid packages include food supplies and cash, which are being distributed to the newly returned families.

Sources indicate that this initiative is being implemented based on the decree of the Emir al-Mu’minin, with his special emphasis. The distribution process has started in certain areas of the capital, and officials have promised that all registered families will benefit from this aid.

In recent months, the return of Afghan migrants from neighboring countries has increased, with many of these families facing serious livelihood challenges and a lack of shelter. Residents say that creating job opportunities and ensuring reliable access to basic services are urgent needs for the returnees.

However, it is expected that the Taliban administration, alongside providing immediate aid, will undertake transparent and sustainable programs for housing, employment, and social support for these families to prevent further crises in the capital.
