Taliban Representative Meets with Turkey’s Future Party Leader in Ankara to Boost Bilateral Ties

Seniullah Farahmand, the Taliban administration’s ambassador in Ankara, met with Ahmet Davutoğlu, leader of Turkey’s Future Party, to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation. The main focus of the meeting was on expanding political, economic, and cultural relations between the two countries. The Taliban embassy in Ankara issued a statement saying that both sides explored ways to develop joint interactions and collaboration. According to the diplomatic representation, the meeting emphasized the importance of maintaining communication and utilizing existing capacities between Kabul and Ankara. Turkey is among the countries that have cooperated with the Taliban in various sectors in recent years, and relations between the two parties have always held special significance.
