Taliban Approves Construction of Trade Markets in Sar-e Pul and Jawzjan Provinces

The economic deputy directorate of the Taliban administration has announced the approval of plans to build two trade markets in the provinces of Sar-e Pul and Jawzjan. According to this authority, these projects will be implemented on land owned by the municipal offices.
Based on published information, a two-story trade market will be constructed in the Gusfandi district of Sar-e Pul province, with a capacity of 148 shops. This project is slated to be carried out on land belonging to the municipal office of this district.
Additionally, in the third district of the center of Jawzjan province, a five-story trade market will be built on municipal land, comprising 79 shops. No further details regarding the cost or timeline of these projects have been provided.
