Central Zone Officials Hold Meeting to Implement Taliban Leader’s Directives

A coordination meeting of officials from the Central Zone provinces was held under the chairmanship of Aminullah Obeid, the Taliban-appointed governor of Kabul, at the provincial headquarters. According to local officials, the meeting aimed to achieve a “better and more effective” implementation of the Taliban leader’s orders.

The media office of the Kabul provincial authority issued a statement announcing that the gathering was organized to foster coordination between civil and military officials of the Central Zone provinces. In recent years, the Taliban leader has issued directives covering various administrative and social sectors, whose execution has often attracted public attention and, at times, sparked debate among citizens.

According to the statement, officials from the provinces of Kapisa, Panjshir, Maidan Wardak, Parwan, and Bamyan attended the meeting. The head of the Central Zone military court, the deputy commander of the 313 Central Army Corps, police commanders, and intelligence chiefs were also present.

The Central Zone includes provinces geographically surrounding Kabul and holds special importance for the Taliban administration from both security and administrative perspectives. However, no detailed information regarding specific decisions made at the meeting or their practical impact on the daily lives of the residents in these provinces has been released so far.
