Road Construction Continues in Migrant Housing Settlement in Urozgan

Construction of roads in the housing settlement allocated for one thousand migrant families in the city of Tarinkot, the capital of Urozgan province, is currently underway. This project is being carried out using machinery from the Taliban’s Ministry of Defense.

According to local officials, the settlement is intended to house migrant families, and the road construction is part of the process of preparing its basic infrastructure. They say the work is progressing rapidly.

Urozgan province is located in the south of the country, with Tarinkot as its center. Providing shelter and basic services for displaced and migrant families is considered one of the essential needs of the residents in these areas—an issue that has always required ongoing and transparent planning by the responsible organizations.
