Taliban-appointed Afghan Ambassador in Moscow Meets Afghan Traders to Discuss Trade Relations

The Afghan Embassy in Moscow announced that Gul Hasan Hasan, the Taliban-appointed ambassador to Russia, met on Monday with a number of Afghan traders residing in the country to discuss expanding trade relations.

According to the embassy’s newsletter, the meeting, which was also attended by several embassy diplomats, covered topics related to mutual understanding, economic coordination, and existing challenges in trade relations between Afghanistan and Russia.

During the meeting, Gul Hasan Hasan urged Afghan traders to invest within Afghanistan, describing this action as a national responsibility. He also assured that the embassy would cooperate in facilitating and following up on trade affairs with the traders.

Meanwhile, Afghan traders living in Russia voiced their difficulties, concerns, and suggestions across various sectors, calling for effective attention and support from relevant Taliban administration institutions regarding economic and trade activities.
