Hebrew Newspaper Admits Israeli Support for Militants in Gaza

A Hebrew-language newspaper has revealed extensive Israeli support for armed individuals in the Gaza Strip, aimed at engaging them against resistance forces.

According to Arabic 21, the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Tel Aviv provides these individuals with weapons, money, food, and other resources. The report states that the assistance also includes logistical support such as the supply of fuel, foodstuffs, and vehicles.

Based on this report, the Israeli regime spends millions of dollars to advance this program and support internal mercenaries in Gaza. The primary mission of these individuals is to create chaos, gather intelligence, and spy against the resistance forces.

However, the newspaper itself pointed to criticisms, noting that many analysts believe these individuals lack the military capabilities necessary to confront resistance forces and cannot serve as an alternative to Hamas in Gaza.

In another part of the report, this situation was compared to the Sabra and Shatila incidents during the first war against Lebanon, where forces allied with Israel carried out widespread massacres of Palestinians, provoking global outrage against Israel and its military. Referencing this history highlights concerns about the humanitarian and security consequences of such policies.
