Three-Day National Exhibition Launched in Helmand to Support Local Products

A three-day national exhibition aimed at supporting local products and strengthening the sales market has opened in Helmand province. Organizers say the event was launched to introduce domestic goods and create links between producers and markets.

The exhibition is being held by the Taliban’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce. According to officials, the initiative seeks to encourage manufacturers and expand access for local products to new markets. They have also mentioned marketing programs planned for certain products in several countries.

However, manufacturers have consistently emphasized that exhibitions are only effective when accompanied by sustainable supportive policies, export facilitation, and transparent market access. The lack of adequate infrastructure and administrative restrictions remain challenges that could undermine the impact of such programs.
