Three Arrested in Connection with Murder Case in Herat

Security officials in Herat province have announced the arrest of three individuals accused of involvement in a murder case. The suspects were identified and apprehended within the jurisdiction of the ninth police district in Herat city.

Ghulam Nabi Nabizadeh, spokesman for the Herat Police Command, stated that the arrested individuals killed a local resident in the same area some time ago and fled the scene immediately after the incident.

According to him, preliminary investigations regarding the case are ongoing, and once the initial review is completed, the case file of the accused will be formally handed over to the judicial and legal authorities.

Under Taliban administration, the Herat Police Command emphasized that legal action will be taken against criminal offenders and efforts to ensure citizens’ security and prevent the recurrence of such incidents will continue.
