Hacker Group Hanzala Announces New Cyberattack Targets

The hacker group Hanzala has released a new message announcing fresh targets for cyberattacks against several prominent Israeli figures.
According to the Israeli website Walla, as reported by Russia Today (RT Arabic), the message—titled “A Day of Reckoning Awaits the Child-Killers”—was directed at residents of the occupied territories.
In the statement, Hanzala emphasized that achieving a permanent and just peace is only possible through the holding of free and inclusive elections involving all inhabitants of the Holy Land—Muslims, Jews, and Christians—without the presence of extremist groups. As the Hanukkah holiday approaches, the group also asked its audience which Israeli official’s information they would prefer to see exposed.
The message went on to name Itamar Ben-Gvir, Minister of National Security; former Minister Benny Gantz; Knesset member Tally Gotliv; and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant as individuals who may be targeted in upcoming cyberattacks.
This statement was issued just hours after Naftali Bennett, the former Israeli Prime Minister, broke his silence for the first time about his phone allegedly being hacked by the Hanzala group.
