Afghanistan’s Pistachio Exports Surge by 69% Compared to Last Year

The Department of Information at the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment has announced that pistachio exports have increased by 69 percent compared to last year. According to Ehsanullah Ehsan, in the first seven months of last year, the value of pistachio exports was 42 million dollars, whereas during the same period this year, the figure rose to 72 million dollars. He also stated that the majority of Afghanistan’s pistachio exports are destined for European countries, India, and the largest quantity goes to China.
