Authorities Shut Down 18 Poultry Shops in Baghlan for Price List Violations

Officials from the Market Regulation Department in De Salah district of Baghlan province, under the leadership of Ali Mohammad Kamel, the district governor, have closed 18 poultry shops for failing to comply with the established price list. According to the Baghlan provincial media office, this measure was taken to maintain market order and control prices. Local authorities have warned that legal action will be taken against those who do not adhere to these regulations. This move comes amid widespread challenges in many parts of Afghanistan, where lack of oversight and coordinated pricing have caused significant problems in the food markets.
