Afghanistan and Qatar envoys in Kuwait discuss political and economic ties

In Kuwait, Afghanistan’s Ambassador Mawlawi Mohammad Shafiq Khatib met with Qatar’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Ali Mahmoud.

According to a statement from the Afghan Embassy in Kuwait, the meeting focused on political and economic relations between the two countries and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation. Both sides stressed the need to expand cooperation and reinforce ties.

The meeting came as Afghanistan’s cooperation with countries in the region is seen as highly important for improving its economic and political situation. However, it remains to be seen how these achievements can reduce the broad economic challenges facing the Afghan people under the current conditions.
