US Public View of Zelensky Has Turned Sharply More Negative Since Trump’s Return, Analyst Says

Sarah Biles, an American journalist and founder of the DD Geopolitics project, said in an interview with the Russian media outlet RIA Novosti that since Donald Trump returned to the White House, the American public’s view of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has become sharply more negative.
According to her, some people in the United States see Zelensky as someone dependent on Washington’s aid, and even as an “annoying beggar” and a “puppet.”
This comes as people in the United States are deeply tired of the prolonged war between Kyiv and Moscow. The conflict has now entered a new stage, with both sides continuing to step up drone and missile attacks against each other.
During his previous term as president, Donald Trump claimed he would be able to end the war in Ukraine in less than 24 hours, but the continuation of the conflict during his current presidency has badly weakened his image and cast doubt on his claims.
