Yemen’s military spokesman says missile and drone attack hit Saudi targets

Yahya Saree, spokesman for Yemen’s armed forces, claimed that in their latest operation deep inside Saudi Arabia, they targeted Aramco in Dhahran, King Khalid Airport and an Aramco refinery in Riyadh.

According to Mehr news agency, citing Al Masirah TV, Saree said the targets were struck with guided ballistic missiles and drones. He claimed the announced targets were hit accurately and that the operation caused destruction and fires in parts of Saudi Arabia.

The spokesman for Yemen’s armed forces also claimed that Saudi Arabia has carried out 2,281 air and missile attacks against Yemen during the war and committed “dozens of crimes.” He warned that attacks on Saudi airports and oil facilities would continue in the coming days.

Saree urged airlines, residents and employees at the targeted facilities not to approach the sites and to evacuate them immediately. He described the facilities as legitimate targets for Yemen’s armed forces and said the “equation of siege for siege and attack for attack” would continue.
