Israeli settlers torch mosque east of Ramallah

Israeli settlers set fire to a mosque in the village of Mikhmas, east of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank. Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported the incident.

The attack comes as two other mosques in the West Bank have also been targeted by arson in recent weeks. In one of those incidents, a mosque in the Qusra area, south of Nablus, was set on fire and slogans against Muslims were written on its walls.

Another mosque was also torched in the village of Kur, south of the city of Tulkarm. Reports described these incidents as part of a series of repeated Israeli settler attacks on Palestinian areas in the West Bank.
