Red Cross and Red Crescent Provide Cash Aid to 700 Affected Families in Zabul

The International Committee of the Red Cross has said it has, together with the Afghan Red Crescent Society, provided cash assistance to 700 families affected by clashes in Zabul province.

According to the organization, the homes of these families were damaged or completely destroyed as a result of the fighting, and their livelihoods were also disrupted.

The International Committee of the Red Cross added that this cash assistance can help affected families meet their immediate needs and begin rebuilding their lives.

The aid is being distributed at a time when, in recent years, armed clashes in parts of Afghanistan have destroyed homes and damaged family income sources, leaving some residents facing economic hardship and basic needs.
