One killed, two injured after drone debris falls in Saudi Arabia’s Taif

Saudi Civil Defence said debris from a drone intercepted and destroyed in the airspace of Taif province fell to the ground, killing one person and injuring two others.

According to Al Jazeera, the agency said the incident took place in Taif province and left casualties. No information has yet been released about the identities of the victims or further details of the incident.

At the same time, Al Mayadeen TV, citing a special and senior source, reported that Riyadh has asked Oman to request Ansar Allah to observe a two-week ceasefire. According to the source, talks are expected to be held during this pause to examine a solution to Yemen’s humanitarian file.

The source also said Saudi Arabia has claimed that an agreement on Yemen’s humanitarian file will be announced during the ceasefire period. Taif province is located in western Saudi Arabia and is considered one of the country’s important cities.
