Pakistan’s Shehbaz Sharif Condemns Attacks on Saudi Arabia

Saudi sources have reported that Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif condemned attacks on Saudi Arabia in a telephone call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and stressed Islamabad’s solidarity with Riyadh.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the call also covered the latest regional developments and diplomatic efforts to ease tensions.
The report said the Pakistani prime minister condemned attacks that targeted Saudi Arabia’s critical infrastructure and reiterated his country’s support for the kingdom.
Saudi sources also said Shehbaz Sharif praised Saudi Arabia’s restraint and its support for the Iraqi government’s efforts to prevent its territory from being used to launch attacks on Saudi Arabia and other neighbouring countries.
The Saudi Press Agency is the kingdom’s official media outlet and usually publishes the official position and account of Saudi authorities on diplomatic events.
