Saudi Aramco facilities in Jizan hit again in reported attack

News reports say Saudi Aramco’s oil facilities in Jizan, Saudi Arabia, have once again been targeted in an attack, with assessments of possible damage still under way.

According to Al Mayadeen, citing Western sources, the latest attack targeted Aramco’s oil infrastructure in the Jizan region. The Financial Times also reported, citing two informed sources, that the company’s oil facilities were attacked again today.

The report said the assessment of the damage has not yet been completed, and no further details have been released about how the attack was carried out.

Aramco is Saudi Arabia’s state-owned oil company, and Jizan is located in the southwest of the country near the Yemeni border, an area that has previously been the focus of repeated security incidents amid regional tensions.
