Taliban confirms state ownership of 69 jeribs of land in Kabul’s Bagrami

The Taliban administration said 69.45 jeribs of land in Ehsan Mina township in Kabul’s Bagrami district has been confirmed as state land under a ruling by the Special Court for Land Cases.

Qari Barkatullah Rasooli, spokesperson for the Taliban-led Ministry of Justice, said in a post on X on Sunday that the decision was made after reviewing documents and records related to more than 364 jeribs of land in the township.

According to him, the Special Court for Cases of Seized State Land in the central zone reviewed the case and identified part of the land under review as state-owned.

Bagrami district is located in eastern Kabul, and in recent years land ownership and disputes over land in some areas of the district have been among the contentious cases.
