Two traffic incidents in Nimroz leave two dead and nine injured

Nimroz traffic authorities have said two people were killed and nine others injured in two traffic incidents in the province.
Sardar Mohammad Rahimi, head of traffic incident management in Nimroz, said that early on Saturday morning two vehicles, a Fielder and a Lexus, veered off the road near the Sefid Qala Gah and Shahid Ghazi checkpoints on the Nimroz highway. He said one person was killed and six others were injured in the incident.
He added that the injured were taken to nearby hospitals by security forces.
According to Rahimi, in another incident that took place yesterday on the Zaranj-Dilaram highway in the Dilaram area, two cargo trucks collided. As a result, one person was killed and three others were injured.
The head of traffic incident management in Nimroz also said that today a large cargo truck, a trailer, veered off the road and overturned, but the incident caused no casualties.
The Zaranj-Dilaram highway is considered one of the important transit routes in Nimroz province, and the movement of cargo vehicles along this route is extensive.
