US Warns Citizens Against Travel to Ukraine Over Possible Unrest

The US State Department has warned American citizens not to travel to Ukraine, citing the continued hostilities and the possibility of civil unrest.

In an updated notice published on its website, the department said the risk of civil unrest remains present alongside other threatening factors in Ukraine.

The document says civil unrest refers to instability in political, economic, religious or ethnic fields, a situation that could lead to violence, widespread disruption or security threats.
