Freedom Front says it carried out first guerrilla attack in Ghazni

The Afghanistan Freedom Front has announced that its forces carried out their first guerrilla operation in Ghazni province on Friday evening, 6 Sunbula 1405. According to the group, the attack killed Mullah Omar Sadiq, deputy of Taliban administration’s 06 Hafiz Badruddin unit in Ghazni.
In a statement, the front said the incident took place in the Aab Qala area of Waghaz district. Based on the Freedom Front’s claim, one light weapon and one pistol belonging to this Taliban administration member were also seized by its forces.
The Freedom Front also released a video of the attack. In the footage, an armed man riding a motorcycle is shot at by people inside a vehicle, and then his body is seen on the ground.
The Freedom Front’s claim has not yet been confirmed by independent sources. Waghaz district in Ghazni province is considered one of the insecure areas of the province, and reports of armed incidents there had previously been published as well.
