Taliban Administration Announces Security Meeting in Kabul

The Taliban administration has announced that a security meeting was held in Kabul, chaired by Lieutenant General Hezbollah Afghanistan, Chief of Staff of the Senior Deputy Ministry of Interior Affairs. The meeting emphasized the defense of what was termed the “Islamic system” and the continued provision of security.

According to the released statement, officials from various security agencies presented reports on their activities and operations during the meeting. However, no specific details about the content of these reports or existing security challenges were disclosed.

Taliban officials described defending the system and serving the people as the responsibility of every security personnel. They claimed that the country’s security is maintained through the efforts of security forces, a process that will also be protected “at the cost of life.”

The Taliban administration’s remarks on providing security come amid scattered reports of security incidents and public concerns in some provinces over recent years. The Ministry of Interior Affairs, a key body under the Taliban administration, holds direct responsibility for managing security affairs.
