Former Israeli Soldier Dies Under Suspicious Circumstances in Miami

A 45-year-old Israeli man, who previously served in the Israeli military, died after falling from the 28th floor of a luxury building in Miami, Florida.

International media have reported that the man was named Yaakov Levi and was currently working as a businessman in the United States. Miami police stated that around 9:30 p.m. they received a report of a man falling from a building in the city, and upon arrival at the scene, they found his body.

The Miami police homicide division said that investigations into how and why the incident occurred have begun, and no further details regarding the cause of death will be released before the autopsy is completed.

Reports indicate that Levi immigrated to the United States after completing his military service in Israel and had established a business company. So far, U.S. officials have not commented on whether the incident is considered a criminal matter.
