Bodies of Two Men Found Bound Under Behsud Bridge in Jalalabad

Local sources in Nangarhar province report that the bodies of two men were discovered on the afternoon of Saturday, July 18, under the Behsud Bridge in the eighth district of Jalalabad city. According to these sources, the victims’ hands and feet were tied, and stab wounds were visible on their bodies.

Based on information from sources, the bodies were handed over around 5:00 PM to a police post affiliated with the Taliban administration and were later transferred to Nangarhar Provincial Hospital for further examination.

So far, the identities of the two individuals have not been confirmed, and there are no details regarding the perpetrators or motives behind the incident. Local Taliban officials have not commented on the matter.

Since the Taliban regained control of the country, numerous mysterious killings have been reported in several provinces. Many of these cases remain unresolved without clear outcomes announced by responsible authorities, raising concerns among residents about security and the transparent investigation of such incidents.
