Suspected Drone Attack in Bajaur, Pakistan Kills Three, Injures Ten

Pakistani police have reported that a suspected drone attack in the Bajaur region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province resulted in three deaths and ten injuries. According to local officials, the incident took place last night near the Damadola area.
According to a report by Dawn on Thursday, the attack was carried out using a drone targeting a residential home. Police stated that all 13 victims of the incident were members of one family.
Among the deceased were a five-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy. The condition of some of the injured has been reported as critical, though further details about their identities have not been released.
Bajaur is one of the border districts with Afghanistan, and in recent weeks, several suspected drone attacks have been reported in the area. The increase in these incidents has raised concerns among local residents.
This comes amid recent Pakistani airstrikes on three Afghan provinces, after which the Taliban administration claimed to have conducted drone attacks on locations in two border provinces of Pakistan. Pakistani officials have yet to provide an official clarification on the matter.
