Taliban Officials Emphasize Strengthening Nangarhar’s Security

Mawlawi Mohammad Nabi Omari, First Deputy and Acting Minister of Interior of the Taliban administration, in a meeting with Mullah Mohammad Naeem Akhund, Governor of Nangarhar, stressed the need to further enhance security and improve administrative affairs in the province.

According to a statement released today by the Press Office of the Ministry of Interior, during the meeting, the Governor of Nangarhar presented a report on the security situation, achievements, and administrative progress in the province and provided information on several related topics.

Subsequently, the Deputy Minister of Interior evaluated the efforts and performance of the Nangarhar Governor positively and assured that the ministry would provide necessary cooperation in required areas.

Nangarhar is one of the important provinces in the eastern part of the country due to its geographical location and border with Pakistan, and it has always been a focus from a security perspective. However, residents of the province expect that the emphasis on strengthening security and good governance will translate into improved public services and sustainable stability in both urban areas and districts.
