Taliban’s Ministry of Finance Announces Ninth Phase of Pension Payments for Ministry Retirees Starting June 27, 2026

The Ministry of Finance under Taliban administration has announced the commencement of the ninth phase of scheduled pension payments from 6th Saratan 1405 in the Solar Hijri calendar, corresponding to June 27, 2026. According to the statement, the budget allocated for this phase is approved specifically for retirees of two ministries.

In this phase, pension payments will be made to retirees from the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Defense. These individuals are instructed to visit the Pension Department according to the designated dates.

The Ministry of Finance stated that the pension collection process will be completed after an in-person visit and the completion of administrative procedures at the Pension Department.
