Final Stage of University Entrance Exam to be Held in Kabul Tomorrow

The General Directorate of Examinations under the Taliban administration has announced that the fourth and final stage of the general university entrance exam, known as the Konkur, will be held tomorrow (Friday, May 12) at the educational center in Kabul. This stage is considered the last part of this year’s Konkur process in the capital.
Nasrullah Khan Shirzi, spokesperson for the Directorate, stated that candidates who did not participate in the previous three stages will also be included in this round. In addition, graduates residing abroad, graduates from various ethnic groups and tribes, graduates from religious schools in Kabul province, fourteenth-grade graduates, and candidates from night educational centers will also take part in this exam.
According to Shirzi, a special exam for fourteenth-grade graduates from Nangarhar, Laghman, Kandahar, Helmand, Farah, and Nimroz provinces will be organized and held separately after all four stages of this year’s Konkur are completed.
The Konkur is held annually as a nationwide university entrance exam in Afghanistan, and its results play a crucial role in determining the educational future of thousands of Afghan youth.
