Don’t Criticize Saad Mohseni, Focus on the Bigger Media Project

Saad Mohseni owns a collection of media outlets that have played an active role in shaping public opinion in Afghanistan and conducting psychological operations over the past two decades.

He himself rarely appears in the media, making it unlikely that he speaks without careful calculation and planning.

The media under Saad Mohseni’s management have been among the most important collaborators of the United States and its security agencies from the beginning.

The projects he has received from the West in the media sector have all been major undertakings. His professional standards have been high both technically and in employing psychological operation methods.

Saad Mohseni and his team are a fully professional group that have operated as the media arm of the U.S. and the West, even during the Taliban’s dominion over Afghanistan, following established plans.

Therefore, the recent statements he has made about the normalization of conditions in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan should not necessarily be seen merely as personal opinions; rather, they may be part of a new media project.

In my opinion, instead of criticizing Saad Mohseni or questioning why he makes claims that normalize the Taliban, it is necessary to pay attention to the underlying motives behind this action.

There is a possibility that the U.S. and the Taliban have entered a new phase of the Afghanistan project, and Saad Mohseni has been personally tasked with executing its media component.
