Ben-Gurion Airport Evacuated After Suspicious Smoke From Unknown Package

Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth has reported that Ben-Gurion International Airport was evacuated and its staff were removed from the premises following the sighting of smoke emanating from a large, unidentified package.

According to the report, thick smoke arose from a suspicious package within the airport grounds minutes ago, causing widespread panic and concern among the personnel. It is said that this incident occurred in a section of the airport that was already operating on a partial closure basis.

So far, authorities have not released further details about the contents of the package or the possibility of explosives or other hazardous materials, and investigations are ongoing.

Located near Tel Aviv, Ben-Gurion Airport has been repeatedly targeted by security threats amid the ongoing conflict, with numerous flights canceled or suspended due to missile attacks.
