Mohammad Omar Daudzai Appointed Acting Chairman of Afghanistan Salvation Council

Mohammad Omar Daudzai has been unanimously elected as the acting chairman of the Afghanistan Salvation Council during last night’s leadership meeting. Daudzai expressed his gratitude for the council members’ trust, describing the position both as a great honor and a heavy responsibility towards the people and the country.

He added that with the cooperation, consultation, and guidance of the council members, he will strive to fulfill this responsibility in the best possible way. Daudzai emphasized that overcoming Afghanistan’s current challenges requires national consensus, collective effort, political wisdom, and constructive cooperation among political and social factions.

The acting chairman also stated that in order to strengthen national unity and achieve a peaceful, stable, and inclusive Afghanistan, he will work diligently, advancing his new role with sincerity and national commitment.
