Yemen forces used Shaawaz drone against Saudi troops, media outlets say
Media outlets close to Yemen’s armed forces say the use of the “Shaawaz” drone on the country’s southwestern frontlines has led to attacks on Saudi military convoys and changed the battlefield situation, a claim that has not been independently verified.
According to Mehr news agency, the drones have targeted Saudi military columns several times as they moved from Lahj province toward the al-Wazi’iyah and Khaboub areas. These areas are near the strategic Bab al-Mandab strait.
