Riyadh’s King Khalid Airport Closure Extended by 24 Hours After Yemen Attacks

King Khalid Airport in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, will remain closed for another 24 hours following reported attacks by Yemeni armed forces, FlightRadar has reported.
The decision comes after attacks that, according to sources, targeted Saudi airports, particularly King Khalid Airport. Saudi officials said 13 people were killed and another 309 wounded in one of the attacks.
It has also been reported that Terminal 4 at King Khalid Airport was struck and caught fire yesterday. Yemen’s armed forces said their attacks were carried out in response to Saudi military operations in various provinces of Yemen and the killing of civilians.
