Israel Bombs Areas in Southern Lebanon Three Times
Regional media outlets have reported that Israeli fighter jets bombed the area of Al-Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon three times moments ago. So far, no figures have been published on the dead or any possible injuries from the attack.
According to Al Mayadeen, the latest attack came as part of the escalation of tensions in southern Lebanon. Further details on the extent of the damage caused by the strikes have also not yet been released.
A day earlier, media sources had also reported an Israeli army artillery attack on the area of Ali al-Taher and the town of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon. According to those sources, the area between Hadatha and Haris was also shelled by artillery fire.
It has also been reported that the Israeli army carried out several explosions yesterday in the town of Al-Mansouri in southern Lebanon, destroying part of the area’s infrastructure. Southern Lebanon, along the border with Israel, has been one of the main centers of tension and conflict in recent months.
