Germany Deports About 30 Afghan Nationals to Afghanistan

German media have reported that the country has deported about 30 Afghan nationals to Afghanistan on a charter flight from Leipzig/Halle Airport.

According to the public broadcaster Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR), the flight took place on Tuesday and transported around 30 Afghan citizens to Afghanistan. The outlet said the aircraft departed from Leipzig/Halle Airport and arrived in Afghanistan.

This was described as Germany’s second mass deportation of Afghan nationals, an operation that, according to the broadcaster, also included some people with no criminal record.

In August this year, Germany also deported 31 Afghan nationals to Kabul. According to the report, one person without a criminal record was among those deported on that flight as well.
