Taliban Search for Missing People in Helmand Sands Yields No Results

Local sources in Helmand say the search for several missing people, including women and children, in the deserts of Bahramcha district has so far produced no results.
According to the sources, the people disappeared from desert areas of Bahramcha district from yesterday morning, and there is still no information about their fate.
The sources added that Taliban forces launched a search operation yesterday, and a helicopter was also sent to the area this morning, but despite the continued efforts, no information about the missing people has been obtained so far.
The Taliban’s director of information and culture in Helmand also confirmed, according to the sources, that the search for the missing people has been ongoing since yesterday, but the effort has so far failed.
Bahramcha district is located in southern Helmand, near the border with Pakistan, and parts of it are made up of vast, sparsely travelled desert areas.
