Iran’s IRGC Claims Attack on US Al-Asad Airbase in Kuwait

The Public Relations Office of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that as part of the ongoing “Nasr 2” operation, the US airbase at Al-Asad in Kuwait was targeted in an attack.
According to the IRGC statement, the assault resulted in two drone hangars and a fuel depot related to military aircraft and helicopters being set on fire and destroyed.
The Iranian military body described the strike as a “punishment of the aggressor,” emphasizing that operations against American forces in the region will continue.
Al-Asad base is considered one of the key US military centers in Kuwait and has been used in recent years to support air operations in the region. So far, US and Kuwaiti officials have not released any response regarding the details of this attack.
