Afghanistan Announces National Futsal Team for Continental Cup
The Football Federation of Afghanistan has announced the roster for the national futsal team set to participate in the Continental Cup, a tournament featuring several Asian and interregional teams.
According to the federation, the squad includes Ali Ahmad Mohseni, Ahmad Esmaeili, Akbar Kazemi, Javad Heidari, Farzad Mahmoudi, Abdolghafar Sadeqi, Seyed Hossein Mousavi, Reza Hosseinpour, Mehran Gholami, Omid Ghanbari, Mohammad Moradi, Hossein Mohammadi, Abbas Heidari, Seyed Morteza Hosseini, and Hamidreza Hosseini.
The Continental Cup will commence on August 1 (10 Asad in the local calendar), with Afghanistan competing alongside Russia, Vietnam, New Zealand, and host nation Thailand.
The Continental Cup is an international futsal tournament featuring teams from multiple continents, providing valuable preparation and competitive experience for Afghanistan’s national players against diverse opponents.
