Deputy Minister Urges Acceleration of Development Projects in Helmand Province
Mohammad Arsala Khurram Khatat, Deputy Minister for Rural Development at the Taliban’s Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, met with officials from Helmand Province’s Rural Rehabilitation and Development Directorate to discuss the progress of ongoing projects.
During the meeting, they reviewed the advancement of development projects, employee challenges, and ways to improve service delivery to local residents.
The Taliban official emphasized that providing honest services, maintaining open doors at government offices for the public, and speeding up development work are top priorities. He urged staff to carry out their duties on time and based on Islamic values.
The Rural Rehabilitation and Development Directorates in the provinces are responsible for implementing infrastructure projects in rural areas, projects that are essential for providing basic services to remote communities.
