Suspect Arrested for Stealing Gold and 70 Mobile Phone Stands in Badakhshan

The Taliban administration has announced the arrest of an individual accused of stealing from a jewelry shop in the Nusay district of Badakhshan province.

The Taliban Ministry of Interior, in a statement published on its official social media page, said that the individual was arrested with the cooperation of security forces from Nusay district and intelligence forces from Kuf Ab district.

According to the ministry, one kilogram of gold, two kilograms of silver, 70 mobile phone stands, some jewelry, and other stolen items were recovered and seized from the suspect.

Security officials added that investigations related to this incident are ongoing. Nusay district is located in the eastern part of Badakhshan province and is known as one of the mountainous areas of the province.
