Taliban Administration Officially Launches Afghanistan Agriculture and Livestock Export Chamber

The Taliban’s Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock has officially launched the “Afghanistan Agriculture and Livestock Export Chamber.” According to the ministry, the goal of establishing this chamber is to better regulate agricultural and livestock products and to attract cooperation from national and community institutions to achieve self-sufficiency. Officials from the ministry have stated that this new structure is set to organize the export process of agricultural and livestock products. The Taliban administration’s announcement comes as the agriculture and livestock sector remains one of the main pillars of the country’s economy, with strengthening infrastructure and export markets considered essential needs for this sector.
