Educational Packages Distributed to 70,340 Students in Daikundi Province

Local officials in Daikundi province have announced the distribution of educational packages to 70,340 students and 2,250 teachers across 379 schools. This initiative, implemented in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), aims to strengthen the educational process in the province.
Zarif Gholami, Head of the Information and Culture Department in Daikundi, stated that this process has been carried out by the Directorate of Education in cooperation with UNICEF and involves providing educational materials and supplies to schools throughout the province. According to him, these packages are intended to improve teaching quality and provide educational resources amid difficult economic conditions.
Mohammad Jawad Afzali, head of the UNICEF office, also emphasized that access for students and teachers to quality educational materials plays a crucial role in enhancing learning outcomes. He added that creating suitable educational environments can help raise the level of education in schools.
Several Daikundi students welcomed this initiative, noting that many families cannot afford to buy school supplies due to economic hardships. They expressed hope that such programs will continue so that students in various parts of the country can benefit from improved educational facilities.
Daikundi, a central province with a large portion of its population living in mountainous areas, has faced economic challenges and shortages of educational resources in its schools. Continued support from international organizations in the education sector can help address some of these needs.
