Flash Flood in Nangarhar Claims Life of 13-Year-Old Child

A 13-year-old boy named Dadullah lost his life following a sudden flash flood in the Haska Mina district of Nangarhar province. The incident occurred in the village of Shapolede, and after several hours of searching, local residents recovered the child’s body from the water.

According to released information, the rapid floodwaters swept the boy away, and despite immediate efforts by locals, rescue was not possible. A video circulating on social media shows the moment the child was caught in the flood.

Local sources stated that Dadullah’s body was found and recovered hours later with the cooperation of area residents.

It is reported that the severe floods yesterday in the eastern provinces of the country have caused not only human casualties but also significant financial losses. These floods have destroyed agricultural lands and some public facilities.
