Elementary School for Fishermen in Faryab Inaugurated

The construction of an elementary school specifically for fishermen in the Nawabad district of Qala-e-Naw, Faryab province, has been completed and inaugurated at a cost exceeding 13.2 million Afghanis.

Local officials stated that this project was implemented to provide better educational opportunities for the children of fishing families in the area. With the completion of the building, students can now access education in a more suitable environment.

The school includes six classrooms, an administrative office, a laboratory room, a surrounding wall, a solar power system, and other necessary facilities.

Faryab province, located in northern Afghanistan, is home to residents who, alongside agriculture and livestock farming, are also engaged in fishing. Establishing educational facilities in such areas can help improve the educational conditions for children.
